Endovascular AAA Repair (aka EVAR)

A common and advanced form of endovascular surgery taking place today is Endovascular Aneurysm Repair. This is a minimally invasive technique developed to treat abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs).

The physicians of St. Luke's CVA and the staff of St. Luke's Heart & Vascular's Endovascular Operating Room in Boise have been repairing AAA's with endografts since 2001.

Iliac Artery Angioplasty

Angioplasty and stenting of narrowed iliac arteries can safely be performed as an outpatient or short-stay procedure and the circulation to the lower legs can be improved enough to significantly impact a patient's ability to walk without leg and/or hip pain.

Renal Artery Angioplasty

Renal artery narrowing is caused by atherosclerosis or fibromuscular dysplasia (FMD) and can lead to deterioration kidney function, high blood pressure and renal failure. Angioplasty with stenting has been found to be safe and effective in this context.
