Michael J. Tullis, M.D.

Dr. Tullis hails from Wausau, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, with Honors and attended the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He then completed his training in General Surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics.

Dr. Tullis went on to specialize in Vascular Surgery at the University of Washington Medical Center under the direction of Dr. D. Eugene Strandness, Jr.

Following his Vascular training, Dr. Tullis took an academic teaching position as an Assistant Professor of Surgery, at the University of New Mexico.

Dr. Tullis is board certified in Vascular Surgery and General Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Additionaly, he is a member of the American Association of Vascular Surgery, International Society of Endovascular Specialists, Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society, Pacific Northwest Vascular Society, Idaho Medical Association and the Ada County Medical Society.

Dr. Tullis joined CVA in 2000. He lives in Boise with his wife Michelle, daughter Reagan and dog Sage. His outside interests include wakeboarding, snowboarding, hunting and fishing.
